Lisa has been working with vulnerable people for over 20 years, having worked in the Homeless Sector before completing her Degree in Counselling & Psychotherapy in 2015 with the IICP.
Lisa feels that every person deserves to be treated with respect, kindness and patience. When given a safe and inviting space where they are listened to intently and understood with no judgement, a trusting therapeutic relationship can develop.
The approach used by Lisa is Person-Centred, incorporating Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Choice Theory, Humanistic and Psycho-educational models.
Lisa has experience working with many difficulties including Anxiety, Depression, Addiction, Family Issues, Self-Esteem, Loneliness, and Suicidal Ideation.
